5 Essential Travel Tips

As some of you know… I have been a Flight Attendant for 5 years now. I have been able to pick up on the best tips that make my trips easier & am happy to share with you!

  1. If Traveling International, Learn The Language. Even though English is the most used language around the world, the language barrier in most countries is present. It will only help you to know a little bit of the basics!

  2. Buy A Universal Travel Adapter. Pack it on every trip. If you are anything like me, you are spontaneous, meaning you never know when you’ll need it!

  3. Always Pack An Extra Set Of Clothes In Your Carry On. Why do I say this? If you check a bag and it ends up getting lost or damaged, you will need a set of clothes. Usually within a few days the airlines are able to locate you’re luggage and get it back to you!

  4. Pack A First Aid Kit. You never know when you are going to need a Band-Aid! I’ve had several passengers ask me for Band-Aids or gloves, and thankfully I had them right there with me. P.S. Most International countries do not have all the options we have in the states, so you may find it difficult to find what you need.

  5. Have A Photo Copy Of You’re Passport or ID In Your Wallet. The last thing you want to do is lose you’re form of ID, without an ID you can’t travel, let alone get back into the country. I ALWAYS have a photo copy of my passport & ID on me at all times. That’s the last situation you want to be in.
