Most Visited Beaches in Florida

Florida is one of the places everyone wants to vacation… but the hardest decision is figuring out where exactly you want to go! Now, if you are planning a trip to Florida it is most likely to either visit Disney or the beach. Below I list the beaches that I have found to be the most beautiful and tourist friendly! Hopefully, this gives you the kick you need to plan your trip to the south. (:


Pensacola Beach

Location : Pensacola, Florida

Average Yearly Temperature : 74 degrees F

Best Time Of The Year To Visit : Mid September - October

  • Known for having some of the whitest sand, which is almost pure quartz

  • Home of the Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy’s elite flight squad

  • Average of 325 days of sunshine per year

  • Consistently ranks one of the best beaches in the country


South Beach

Location : Miami, Florida

Average Yearly Temperature : 82 degrees F

Best Time Of The Year To Visit : March - mid May

  • South Beach is THE hottest vacation spot in the country

  • Miami is the cruise capital of the world

  • Nickname is the “magic city”

  • Largest collection of Art Decor in the US


Siesta Key Beach

Location : Sarasota, Florida

Average Yearly Temperature : 78 degrees F

Best Time Of The Year To Visit: February - June

  • Stretches 8 miles along the coast of Sarasota

  • If you are lucky, you may spot a dolphin or a manatee right off the coast

  • Beaches on the actual island of Siesta Key include Siesta Key beach, Crescent beach, and Turtle beach


Smathers Beach

Location : Key West, Florida

Average Yearly Temperature : 84 degrees F

Best Time Of The Year To Visit : March - May

  • Smathers beach is close 1 mile long

  • Starting point of beach begins at mile marker zero

  • Known for its clear waters, calm waters for paddle boarding and family friendly


Daytona Beach

Location : Daytona Beach, Florida

Average Yearly Temperature : 77 degrees F

Best Time Of The Year To Visit : October - May

  • “World’s Most Famous Beach”

  • You can drive your own car on the beach (as long as weather permits)

  • Known for Daytona International Speedway, which hosts the Daytona 500 NASCAR race every February
