Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro

In my opinion, the most beautiful beach in Brazil!

The pictures don’t even begin to do justice. My best friend Lauren & I stayed right on the water… and for not a bad price at all! We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Orla Copacabana Hotel. Just a few of the positives from Orla included; the friendly staff, the rooftop pool/ bar, wonderful Brazilian breakfast and the location! The view from the picture above is taken from the rooftop of our hotel, not only did we go to the pool during the scorching hot days, but the view was just as beautiful at night.

Copacabana Beach is THE place to stay while visiting Rio. As a matter of fact, everyone on the tour was staying within just a few blocks of us. I recommend taking a day and heading over the to Arpoador and Diablo beach. We took a cab from our hotel and it was a very quick 2-3 minute drive. Pictured below is the view from Arpoador, which is a tourist attractions known for its beautiful views, unique rock formations, a various amount of plants/flowers and is one of the best spots to watch the sunset in the city. Now, climb the rocks at your own risk, but I DO NOT recommended wearing flip flops… I unfortunately was not thinking when I got dressed for the day, HAHA!

Now, I am going to keep this blog short and sweet.. but please do yourself the favor of either staying on Copacabana Beach while visiting or making sure you make a day out of it!
